Time is relative.
This we know from Einstein
and from desk clocks.

Evolution is fact.
This we know from Darwin
and from desktops.

What changes
is only speed
and time
and the position of the observer
and of the observed attempting
to evolve into something
present
and future.

To cut is to tear is the change the shape of a thing.
To change a shape is to evolve.
To cut is to engage with time.
To hasten the process of evolving.
To pull the past
through the present
to the future
to wherever the observer stands
and waits for the present to pass
into the future.
