I have always wondered
how the best way to go really is.
Do you want to be surprised?
To not see the end rushing towards you
to be unaware through sight
knowing only in deeper senses
in the Limbic System?
To be dressed in pink and white
and know something has to happen soon
because you can't stand still
and you cannot look behind you
and you cannot see the future
right before your eyes?
Or do you want to know
the thing you never wanted to know?
To see how you look
facing down the barrel
of the inevitable?
Do you want to stand up
straighten your collar
adjust your sleeves
take the last few steps
and fall under the moonlight?
